About Me

Hello! I’m Delia

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hello, I am Delia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced in anxiety, depression, grief counseling and trauma. Above everything else, I believe that everybody, anywhere, deserves to live a happy and healthy life. A life beyond the grips of anxiety, tortures of depression, and trauma. A life full of productivity and filled with laughter. When this is not so, as often is the case in our lives, I am always driven by compassion to help the individual, whether a friend or a stranger, carry the burden. This is my passion and my life’s mission.

Myself, I am no stranger to depression, anxiety, trauma and/or a traumatic environment. As a retired Navy Veteran who served over twenty years in the military, I possess a unique understanding of both the overt and the covert effects of trauma on our mental, physical, and spiritual lives. And also, in the seven years I have worked in the clinical therapy field, I have been privileged to help a diverse base of patients on their journey to healing and wellness; from foster children unable to locate a long-term residence, to PTSD patients, to individuals dealing with social isolation stress, among many others.

I hold a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and currently, I work at Level One Trauma Center, where I provide incomparable multiple evidence-based care intervention to patients that may be experiencing anxiety, depression and grief. With Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, I seek to aid my patients in their wellness journey and educate them on lifelong techniques of identifying their cognitive patterns, the influence these patterns have in their lives, and how best to take care of their mental health. Further, my Telehealth Therapy Certification, Completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Clinical Couples Therapy, Certification in Clinical Trauma and Certification in Grief Counseling training gives me exceptional clinical expertise to competently handle the ever-evolving, diverse nature of mental health. Be assured that as we partner together to build a healthier and brighter future, you are in capable, caring, and understanding hands

REBUILDING, RECOVERING AND RESTORING ON A PATHWAY TO HEALING.
